How to cancel Spotify Premium
You cannot cancel inside the app. Use a web browser.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- Open spotify.com in a web browser (not the app) and sign in.
- Go to your account and open your plan page (Manage plan or Change plan).
- Scroll to the Spotify Free card and select Cancel Premium.
- Confirm the cancellation.
Good to know
- Premium continues until the end of your current billing period, then your account drops to the free tier. Your playlists and library are kept.
- If you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, Spotify will not list the plan for cancellation. Cancel in your Apple or Google subscription settings instead.
- Refund requests for payments billed through Apple or Google must go to Apple Support or Google Play Help. Spotify cannot process them.
