How to cancel Adobe Creative Cloud
Watch the early termination fee. Timing matters more than anything else.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- Sign in at account.adobe.com and open your Plans page.
- Select Manage plan, then Cancel plan.
- Choose a reason and read the cancellation details screen. Adobe shows any early termination fee or refund for your exact plan and date.
- Confirm only if the amount is what you expect.
Good to know
- The default plan is an annual plan billed monthly. Cancel after the first 14 days and the fee is 50% of your remaining contract, per Adobe's terms as summarised by multiple sources.
- Cancelling during the final month of your annual term avoids the fee, but the plan renews for another full year if you miss that window.
- Month-to-month plans can be cancelled at any time with no early termination fee.
- Cancellation can be blocked while a payment is processing or failed. Fix any payment problem first.
- Adobe's support chat can sometimes offer retention discounts or reduce the fee. Asking costs nothing.
