How to cancel Pandora (Plus and Premium)
Check how you are billed first. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- Check your bank statement to confirm who bills you.
- Billed by Pandora, on a computer: sign in at pandora.com, open the Subscriptions page (also under Settings), select Switch Plans, click Cancel Subscription in the bottom corner and confirm.
- Billed by Pandora, on a phone: go to the Pandora website, tap the menu icon at top left, tap Subscription and log in if asked, then select Switch Plans and Cancel Subscription.
- Billed through Apple, Google Play, Amazon Appstore, Roku, T-Mobile or a carrier: cancel with that company. Pandora's page links to each one.
Good to know
- Pandora says to cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal or trial end date to avoid another charge.
- Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Pandora Support cannot cancel, change plans or issue refunds for subscriptions bought through Apple, Amazon, Roku or carriers. Go through that company.
- Pandora's page says cancelling stops future payments, but it does not say when access ends or what happens to your account afterward.
Refunds and fees
Pandora's cancellation page does not describe a refund process. It points to the Terms of Service and to Pandora support.
