How to cancel 1Password
Cancel under Billing on 1Password.com. Your account is frozen when the period ends.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- Sign in to your account on 1Password.com.
- Select Billing in the sidebar.
- Select Cancel subscription and follow the onscreen instructions. You may need to scroll down to find the button.
- Started the subscription through an in-app purchase on an Apple or Google device? Manage it through that store instead.
Good to know
- Your subscription stays active until the current billing period ends. Then your account is frozen.
- You can start your subscription again at any time.
- To have your information removed from the service, 1Password says you can delete your account on 1Password.com.
- 1Password's page links to a billing policy about keeping account data and perks after cancellation. Read it before cancelling if you rely on either.
