How to cancel Ring Protect (Ring plans)
Cancel under Plan at ring.com. Download any videos first, since they cannot be restored.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- Sign in to your account at ring.com.
- Select Plan on the top menu.
- Select the plan you want to cancel.
- Confirm the cancellation.
Good to know
- Ring warns that you lose access to all recorded videos when you cancel. Download any you want to keep first. Past recordings cannot be restored, even if you resubscribe later.
- Your subscription and add-ons end at the close of your billing period and do not renew. You keep your plan's benefits until that period ends.
- You can resubscribe at any time.
- Subscribed through the Ring Appstore? Ring says to manage and cancel it there.
- Ring's page does not say exactly when video access ends relative to your billing period.
Refunds and fees
Ring says refunds are not available for subscription cancellations unless applicable law requires one.
