How to cancel MyFitnessPal Premium
Turn off auto-renewal on the platform where you paid, at least 24 hours before renewal.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- Website: log in at myfitnesspal.com with the same email and password you use for the app. Click Settings, then Subscription Settings, and switch the Auto-Renewal toggle at the bottom from On to Off.
- iPhone (App Store purchase): open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select MyFitnessPal and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Android (Google Play purchase): open the Play Store, tap your profile icon, tap Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select your MyFitnessPal subscription and tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom.
Good to know
- You are cancelling the next billing charge, not your current access. Premium stays available until the end of your current paid period.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date or your membership may still renew.
- MyFitnessPal says you must cancel on the same platform where you originally paid.
- MyFitnessPal's page says the steps are typical and may vary by device.
Refunds and fees
For App Store subscriptions, MyFitnessPal says only Apple can handle cancellation or refund requests. The page does not describe a refund process for web or Google Play purchases.
