How to cancel Norton
Turn off automatic renewal from the My Subscriptions tab, and decline the retention offers.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- Log in to your Norton account at my.norton.com.
- Open the My Subscriptions tab.
- Find your subscription and select Cancel Subscription Renewal or Manage Renewal.
- Click Unsubscribe next to Plan Renewal.
- Choose a reason and continue.
- If retention offers appear, select No thanks, cancel my subscription.
- Confirm the cancellation.
Good to know
- Norton says the change typically takes a few hours and can take up to 24 hours to show in your account.
- Your subscription stays active through the end of your current paid term. After that the service stops and does not renew. You may lose benefits tied to automatic-renewal subscriptions.
- Bought through the Apple App Store, Google Play or the Microsoft Store? Norton has a separate article for cancelling in-app purchases. Cancel in that store.
Refunds and fees
Already charged and want a refund? Norton says to contact Member Services & Support. Eligibility rules are not stated on this page, and Norton has a separate cancellation and refund policy article.
