How to cancel Grammarly
Cancelling stops auto-renewal. You keep paid features until the period ends.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- Sign in to Grammarly and open the Account tab in the left sidebar.
- Go to Your account, then Subscription.
- Click Cancel Subscription at the bottom.
- Click Continue in the confirmation window.
- Select a cancellation reason and click Cancel Subscription.
Good to know
- Grammarly says cancelling stops automatic renewal, and you keep access to paid features for the rest of your current subscription period.
- Bought through the Apple App Store? Use Apple's cancellation process instead.
- On mobile, Grammarly says to cancel at account.grammarly.com.
- If you use the Superhuman suite, cancellation applies across the associated apps.
- Deleting your account is a separate process from cancelling.
Refunds and fees
Grammarly has a separate article, Can I get a refund?, and its cancellation page does not state the policy.
