How to cancel Headspace
Cancel on the Headspace website, or in Apple or Google settings if you bought there.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- If you bought on Headspace.com, log in at headspace.com in a desktop or mobile browser, not the app.
- Go to headspace.com/subscription/manage.
- Click the Cancel Membership link.
Good to know
- Apple App Store purchase: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select Headspace, then tap Cancel Subscription to turn off auto-renewal.
- Google Play purchase: open the Play Store, tap Menu, then Subscriptions, tap the Headspace subscription and tap Cancel subscription. Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Headspace says cancelling stops auto-renewal at the end of the current billing cycle. Its page does not say exactly how access works afterwards.
- Mental Health Coaching subscriptions have separate cancellation instructions.
Refunds and fees
Headspace says purchases on Headspace.com are non-refundable, though special circumstances may be reviewed via the support email on its page. It says Apple and Google Play sales are final and non-refundable under those stores' payment policies.
