How to cancel Babbel
Cancel auto-renewal where you subscribed. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- Babbel website: go to babbel.com and log in. Click the profile icon in the top right and choose Profile and settings.
- Open Account Information, select the subscription and click Cancel auto-renewal.
- Google Play: open the Play Store, tap the profile icon, go to Payment and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select Babbel and tap Cancel subscription.
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select Babbel and confirm the cancellation.
Good to know
- Not sure which store you used? Check your Account Information page or your original invoice.
- You keep access to all your courses until the subscription expires, so you can use Babbel through the end of your current billing period.
- If the Cancel auto-renewal button no longer appears, the subscription will not renew. The expiration date is shown in your subscription information.
- Deleting the Babbel app or cancelling your account does not cancel your subscription.
Refunds and fees
Babbel's cancellation page does not mention refunds. Check the Babbel Help Center or contact Babbel support.
