How to cancel Match
Cancel from Manage Subscription in Account Settings. Your profile is hidden, not deleted.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- On a computer, open Account Settings and click the link under Manage Subscription. Follow the on-screen prompts.
- Bought through Apple? Open the App Store, tap your profile icon at the top right, tap Subscriptions, choose Match, tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
- Just want to drop an add-on such as Private Mode? Deactivate that feature separately under Manage Subscription without cancelling the whole subscription.
Good to know
- After you cancel, Match says your profile and photos are hidden. You can reactivate any time by signing in. Your data stays on file under its privacy policy.
- Cancelling turns off auto-renewal. Add-on features will not renew at your next billing cycle.
- Platinum subscribers cannot downgrade to Silver or Bronze after cancelling.
- Cancelling a free trial immediately ends your access.
- Match's page does not give Android steps, so check Match's help center if you subscribed on Android.
