How to cancel ExpressVPN
You cannot cancel inside the app. Use the website or your app store.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- If you paid on the ExpressVPN website (card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay), open portal.expressvpn.com/my-subscription in a browser and log in.
- Click Cancel subscription below Automatic renewal and follow the prompts.
- No cancel option because a renewal failed? ExpressVPN says removing your saved payment method turns off auto-renewal.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before your billing date to avoid being charged.
Good to know
- Apple App Store purchase: open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then Subscriptions, then ExpressVPN, then Cancel Subscription.
- Google Play purchase: open the Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then ExpressVPN, then Cancel Subscription.
- Paid with Bitcoin or Paymentwall? Those subscriptions do not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel.
- You keep access until your current billing cycle ends. Saved logins in ExpressKeys stay accessible, but you cannot add new ones.

ExpressVPN's cancellation page does not state refund rules. Check its help center for the current money-back policy.
