How to cancel Apple Music
Cancel in Settings on iPhone or iPad, the App Store on Mac, or at account.apple.com.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Apple Music, then tap Cancel Subscription (you may need to scroll).
- Mac: open the App Store, click your name in the sidebar, click your name again on the page that appears, then select Subscriptions. Choose the subscription and click Cancel Subscription.
- Windows: open the Apple Music or Apple TV app, click your name in the sidebar, choose View My Account, scroll to Settings and click Manage next to Subscriptions. Click Edit next to the subscription, then Cancel Subscription.
- Web or Android billed by Apple: go to account.apple.com and follow the on-screen instructions.
Good to know
- No Cancel button, or a red expiration message? Apple says the subscription is already cancelled.
- Billed through Google Play on Android? Cancel in the Google Play app instead.
- On a free trial, Apple says to cancel at least 24 hours before it expires to prevent renewal.
Refunds and fees
Apple's cancellation page does not state refund rules.
