How to cancel Audible
Cancel on the Audible website, not in the app. Unused credits are lost.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- Sign in at audible.com in a web browser. The app cannot cancel your membership.
- Select your name in the top navigation, then Membership details. On mobile web, open the main menu first, then select your name, then Membership details.
- Select the Cancel membership link.
- Select Confirm cancellation. You will get a confirmation email, and your Membership details page will show the change.
Good to know
- Deleting the Audible app does not cancel your membership.
- Unused credits are lost when you cancel. Audible says credits from App Store or Google Play subscriptions do not expire and stay in your account.
- Titles you bought with credits or a payment card stay yours. Titles from the included catalog become locked after you cancel.
- Billed through Apple or Google Play? You cannot cancel on Audible's site. Cancel in your Apple or Google subscription settings instead.
Refunds and fees
Audible's cancellation page does not state refund rules. Check Audible's help center for the current policy before relying on a refund.
