How to cancel Surfshark
Turn off auto-renewal under Subscription, then Payments in your account.
First: cancel wherever you are billed. If Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a phone/TV provider bills you, cancelling on the company's own site will not stop the charges.
Steps
- Log in to your Surfshark account at my.surfshark.com.
- Click your email address in the top-right corner and select Subscription.
- Open the Payments section.
- Click Cancel auto-renewal, then confirm.
- No such option? The subscription was probably bought through an app store, or you can ask Surfshark's live chat support to cancel it.
Good to know
- App store purchases are cancelled through the platform that handled payment: Google Play, the Apple App Store, or the Amazon account used for the purchase.
- The subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, and no further payments are charged unless you turn auto-renewal back on.
- Surfshark says unused time in an active billing period is not refunded.
Refunds and fees
Surfshark says cancelling auto-renewal does not trigger a refund. It only stops renewal. If you bought within the last 30 days, Surfshark points to its separate refund policy article.
